Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about MOC Tracker and how we track LEGO MOC statistics.

About MOC Tracker

What is MOC Tracker?
MOC Tracker is a free tool that tracks and analyzes statistics for LEGO MOCs (My Own Creations) from Rebrickable. We collect data on views, likes, and followers to help you discover trending builds and popular designers in the LEGO community.
What is a MOC?
MOC stands for "My Own Creation" - it refers to custom LEGO builds designed by fans rather than official LEGO sets. These range from small modifications of existing sets to entirely original creations like buildings, vehicles, sculptures, and more.
Is MOC Tracker affiliated with Rebrickable or LEGO?
No, MOC Tracker is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rebrickable or the LEGO Group. LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group. We simply track publicly available data to help the community discover great MOCs.

Data & Rankings

Where does the data come from?
All data is collected from publicly available information on Rebrickable.com. We periodically scan MOC and designer pages to track changes in views, likes, and follower counts.
How often is the data updated?
We update our data multiple times per day. However, the exact timing may vary, and there may be slight delays between when a change occurs on Rebrickable and when it appears on MOC Tracker.
How are the Top rankings calculated?
Rankings are based on the number of likes, views, or followers gained during a specific period. Daily rankings show gains from the past 24 hours, weekly rankings show gains over 7 days (Monday to Sunday), and monthly rankings cover the entire calendar month.
Why do some MOCs show negative daily likes or views?
This can happen for a few reasons: users may unlike a MOC or unfollow a designer, Rebrickable may remove spam accounts, or there may be small variations in our data collection. Negative values are normal and reflect real changes in the metrics.
What does "Daily Likes" or "Daily Views" mean?
Daily values are estimated based on the difference between our periodic data snapshots. Since we don't have access to real-time data, these are approximations calculated from the total values we collect throughout the day.
Why do some metrics seem less accurate than others?
Rebrickable rounds certain metrics for display. View counts are always rounded to the nearest 100 (e.g., 1,200 or 1,300), and follower counts above 10,000 are shown in compact notation (e.g., "10.8k" instead of "10,847"). This means we can only detect changes when a value crosses a threshold. Daily counts may appear as 0 even when activity occurred, or jump by 100 when crossing a threshold. Likes are always displayed with exact values, so they are tracked most precisely.
Do you track sales data for premium MOCs?
No, we do not track sales or purchase data for premium MOCs. Rebrickable does not publicly display how many times a MOC has been purchased, so this information is not available to us. We can only track publicly visible metrics like views, likes, and the listed price.

For Designers

How do I get my MOC listed on MOC Tracker?
If your MOC is published on Rebrickable, it will automatically be indexed by MOC Tracker. We continuously scan for new MOCs, so yours should appear within a few days of being published.
How can I improve my ranking?
Rankings are based purely on the engagement your MOCs receive on Rebrickable. Focus on creating quality builds, using good photography, writing detailed descriptions, and engaging with the Rebrickable community. We simply track the statistics - we don't influence them.
Why isn't my MOC or profile showing up?
New MOCs and designers may take a few days to be indexed. If your content has been on Rebrickable for more than a week and still doesn't appear, it's possible we haven't scanned it yet. We prioritize active and popular content.

Technical

What timezone is used for dates and times?
All dates and times on MOC Tracker are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Daily rankings reset at midnight UTC.
How far back does the historical data go?
We started collecting data in December 2025. Historical charts and statistics are available from that date onwards. We cannot show data from before we began tracking.
Can I download or access the data via an API?
We don't currently offer a public API or data downloads. If you have a specific use case or research project, feel free to contact us to discuss options.
